"The whole difference between construction and creation is exactly this:
that a thing constructed can only be loved after it is constructed;
but a thing created is loved before it exists."
- Charles Dickens
Don't you find it strange that I find it necessary to discuss basic reality, and what it entails and what it surely does not entail? Then again people commonly confuse entails with entrails, and I think many people actually attempt to think with their entrails as opposed to the gray matter upstairs.
Speak and create? Absolutely ridiculous. Unless, of course, you are God. God can speak and create, and that is truly divine power.
But many people think that a being created in the image of God IS god, actually. Much the way a man can make a mirror and then the image inside that mirror looking back suddenly becomes the maker of the image, speaking its own intimate thoughts.
