“To say of what is, that it is not, or of what is not, that it is, is false;
while to say of what is, that it is, and of what is not, that it is not, is true.”
- Aristotle
WHAT IS TRUTH
WHAT IS TRUTH
“Truth that has merely been learned is like
an artificial limb, a false tooth, a waxen nose;
it adheres to us only because it is put on. But truth acquired by thought of our own is like a natural limb; it alone really belongs to us.”
- Arthur Schopenhauer
“If Christianity is untrue, then no honest man
will want to believe it,
however helpful it might be; if it is true, every honest man will want to
believe it, even if it gives
him no help at all.”
- C.S. Lewis

Psalms 25:4-5
Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.
Psalm 31:5
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

For my mouth shall speak truth ; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
Proverb 8:7
The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.

Buy the truth , and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
Proverb 23:23
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
Isaiah 10:20
O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
Isaiah 25:1
Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it. And though they say, The Lord liveth; surely they swear falsely. O Lord, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.
Jeremiah 5:1-3
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1:14
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
John 14:6-7
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth ; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
John 14:16-21
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
John 15:26-27
Nevertheless I tell you the truth ; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
John 16:7-13
I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
John 17:14-19
Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
John 18:37-38
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Romans 1:24-25
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth , but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God.
For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law? For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Romans 2
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth , that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth , but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 2:10-14
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
1 Timothy 6:5
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be
ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings:
for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
2 Timothy 2:15-16
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 John 1:5-10
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
1 John 2:3-6
The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; for the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever. Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
You do hear the still small voice. It's certainly not me. I can't get through to you. I have no power. But there is One that does love you, and CAN get through to you, but He will never force you. He will tell you the TRUTH, and you can trust Him. What He thinks is worlds beyond what I think, or what your neighbor thinks, or what those people at church think, or what your parents think. In the long run, none of those opinions matter.
Only His opinion matters, and He made it amply clear what He thinks, what His opinion is, in the Bible, throughout the Bible.
What you find on this page, and on the "What is the Truth Page" is certainly not what is being taught in churches today, it is truly not a part of most of Christianity, certainly not even hinted at in the "biggie" Denominations.
True, there are a few small groups, scattered about, that still keep His commandments, that still love Him, that abide in Him.
And you can be a part of His Body.
You can have the TRUTH.
And I won't profit from that.
It is between you and God.
Pretty much period.
That's the TRUTH.
Go with God.
Not with fables.
Not with lies.
What is being called "The Way of the Master" is the way of confusion and lies and greed and lawlessness.
Flee from it.
Pray to God. Tell Him you want His TRUTH. That you want His Truth regardless of if you don't like it, or know it, or even if it makes you uncomfortable, that you want what God has laid out for you, your mission, in His TRUTH.
God has a plan for you.
He does not intend you harm.
He will accept you TODAY.
I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
1 John 2:21
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
1 John 3:18-19
Regardless of the lies you have cherished and pushed and regardless of how often you have pushed away His still small voice, His Holy Spirit.
His Laws are GOOD. They are sweeter than honey. They are more precious than gold. God says so, and He is telling you the truth. His laws were given to YOU, for your good, to make you HAPPY (but that is not what you have been taught, is it?). You have been taught lies, that His laws are bad, that they are evil, that God's Words are insane, schizophrenic, lies, put there to trip you up.
But that is not true. And you know it.
Accept the Truth. For you. For your family and for your own good.
Do it right now. Accept Him.
You have absolutely nothing to lose except lies, and eternity to gain. That's God's Truth, and it is available to you, now.
Love the Truth. Love the Light. Truth and Light. Light and Truth.
Come out of the Darkness.
You will love the Light.
And you will love the Truth.
Talk to God, not to me, it is God that wants you, cherishes you, is calling to you in His sweet and loving still, small voice.
Listen to Him.
Wake up.
Open your eyes.
And live.

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2 Timothy 4:1-4
This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Titus 1:13-16
Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth , that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
James 1:16-18
Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
James 3:12-18
Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
James 5:19-20
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: but the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
1 Peter 1:22-25
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
John 3:21
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:31-32
The Bible links "Love" and "Truth." Jesus even called Himself "Truth." We must know the Truth, and we must love the Truth. We are told that if we do not love the Truth that we fall into delusion and deception and all manner of false teaching and doctrine of demon.
God does not deceive us. WE deceive us. We choose deception over truth. For some odd reason, it appears to be the human condition, that we prefer lies and man-made fables to TRUTH.
Jesus stood up for Truth. He told the Truth. He presented the Truth. He clarified the Truth. He presented His Father's Law, and operated constantly in His Father's Will. And we know that God gave us His law, the truth, to help us, to provide a better way, to show us how to live a happy life. When we break God's laws we follow after our own lusts, we seek after our own way, our own path, our own gate, our own made-up truth.
The false teachers claim that you must talk yourself into believing things, believing utter nonsense, that this talking yourself into believing is somehow faith, whereas the truth is that it is nothing more than basic make-believe, no better than a fairytale. It is not the truth.
Open your eyes. There is not much time left. You are asleep and you need to wake up. Open your eyes, wake up, and smell the proverbial coffee, it has the odd smell of something burning, and that should tell you something, that should impart a lot of truth to you, this bad smell that has been accumulating all around you while you have been asleep.
You know what lukewarm is. People who are asleep are said to be lukewarm. God prefers people to be either cold or hot, and lukewarm is the worst condition. He says He will spit us out of His mouth.
But the Lord is knocking at the door of your heart, right now. He's saying: "Wake up! Get out of bed. Open the door! And I will come in to you."
Do you hear Him?
Out of desperate love for you, He is knocking at the door of your heart. Choose Him, not absurd fantasies, ridiculous doctrines of demons. Choose Him, your Creator, the Creator of the Universe, the Father of Lights Who gives good gifts.
Shhhhh. Stop talking. Just knock it off. Yes, you have been taught that the words coming out of your mouth save you, that you have to say the right thing, make the correct sounds, and that magic will happen. Just stop talking. There is no magic. There is no power.
Listen. Shhhh. Just listen.
Do you hear that? Just go quiet. Listen. Stop making so much noise. Just go very, very still, very, very quiet. And listen. Shhhhh.
You do hear it. The whisper.
It is outside of your range. You are too far attuned to the nonsense. Your frequency has been tweaked to a wrong station. You can't hear it.
But you DO hear it. Don't you?
You don't know what it is, not yet. It sounds like murmured voices. Whispers.
Whispers.
Just listen. Quietly, listen. Keep your mouth closed and listen to it...
...do you hear it?
Not the voices from the TV. Not the voices in the churches.
Not the babble.
No, this isn't babble, this thing you are hearing. It isn't worthless nonensical words repeated over and over again.
No, this is something more.
Something real.
Do you hear it?
Shhhhhh.
Just listen.
For a while, stop talking and listen.
Truth is whispering to you. It is real. It is not a fairytale, a fable, a ridiculous comic opera. It is real, and it is trying to get through to you, even now, right now at this moment.
But you do not know how to be quiet.
You do not know how to listen.
But don't give up. Don't stop trying. Keep listening. The awesome true life force that desires to communicate with you is not weak, it is not wishy-washy, silly, repulsively stupid.
This is reality. Reality that will not force itself upon your absurd shadow self, your shadow substance. You are not real, but a shadow, and the reality, the very Being that cast your shadow is calling.
Do you hear your name? Softly whispered.
Shhhh, are you listening?
It is a very real voice calling to you, right now, attempting to get through, never forcing itself, never bludgeoning you, never beating you into submission, it is not a master forcing itself upon slave, but the very real voice of love calling to you, whispering to you, wooing you, giving you love.
Love.
And hope, softly hope.
Shhhh. Listen.
For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
2 Corinthians 13:8
Is it me, trying to get through to you?
No, it is not me.
But do you hear it, the voice, the voice of reality? It is not a harsh, booming voice, it is not an angry voice, a demanding voice, but a soft voice, a small voice, a bare whisper.
